Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers cozy and usually roomy rooms that are clean and comfortable, though there are minor inconveniences with getting room service if the Do Not Disturb sign is not taken down early. The breakfast buffet, while providing some variety, is not exceptional. The location is convenient for those wanting to explore on foot but needs more regular upkeep. The service is friendly and welcoming, with some hiccups during check-in. The dining experience is good, with a full array of options, but timing may not suit all guests. Overall, the hotel provides a comfortable stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel rooms were spacious and a bit outdated but still very nice, although heating them properly was a challenge due to an old unit with a fan. My room was located on the center courtyard, which offered comfortable seating and a pleasant breeze, providing two separate sleeping areas.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room, although not close to the main building and with only one ice machine, had a somewhat dusty carpet and didn't meet our expectations based on prior stays. The service was acceptable, friendly for breakfast, and especially helpful with ski passes. The location, while relaxing and comfortable, was lacking towels and not very close to Taos. The dining experience varied from very good in the morning to disappointing at other times. The facilities were decent overall.
